FuelSure can be fitted by anyone to most cars and vans - plus it’s fully transferable. The unique cap locking mechanism means that only a diesel nozzle will open the filler cap.

FuelSure fits almost all cars and vans on British roads. A full range of vehicle adapters are included in the one, standard product pack.
Pack contents: 1 x FuelSure Cap, 4 x Filler Neck Adapters, 1 x Emergency release tool
How to fit to your vehicle
- Remove your current filler cap. You may also need to disconnect the safety ‘laynard’.
- Check the correct vehicle adapter is fitted to the FuelSure Cap by comparing the threads or shape with your current fuel cap.
- The Screw Type adapter is already fitted to the FuelSure Cap – change it if your vehicle needs one of the other three adapters supplied in the pack.
- Ensure the ‘O’ ring is seated in place as shown.
- Insert the FuelSure Cap (fitted with the correct fuel filler neck adapter) in place of your current filler Cap.
- Use the flat disc end of the Release Tool to turn and tighten the base part of the FuelSure Cap in the vehicle filler neck. (You can also use the edge of a spare adapter to tighten the chosen adapter by fitting it into the two grooves cut in the top of the adapter.)
- To close the FuelSure Cap, lift the magenta-coloured tab of the top part of the cap and firmly push the top part of the FuelSure Cap in place to close it.
- That’s all there is to it – You are now protected from misfuelling!
How to use
- 1 Closed Cap
- 2 Insert Diesel nozzle firmly to release cap
- 3 Open FuelSure cap and pull nozzle free
- 4 Fill as normal
- 5 Push FuelSure cap firmly back into place until you hear a click
